Updates In John Murtagh’s General Practice Collection
New editions of Murtagh's Practice Tips and Murtagh's Patient Education; Murtagh's Diagnostic Strategies available for the first time.
Two products in John Murtagh’s General Practice Collection have been completely updated: Murtagh’s Practice Tips and Murtagh’s Patient Education.
Murtagh’s Practice Tips is a practical, comprehensive resource for busy GPs. It includes simple, clear diagrams and step-by-step instructions to guide them in the management of the most common presenting conditions in their practice. Practice tips includes updates throughout, as well as new content, particularly in the areas of: • Wounds and suturing • Dressings for burns • Lost fillings and crowns • CPR in children • Nasal irrigation • Eustachian tube dysfunction and glue ear.
Murtagh’s Patient Education provides busy GPs with a carefully curated collection of concise, easy-to-understand one-page information sheets, covering the most common presenting conditions, that doctors can distribute to patients, providing them with helpful information to assist them with understanding their condition. Most of the existing topics in Murtagh’s Patient Education have been revised, including major updates to women’s health topics; a new Mental health section has been created; and 22 new sheets have been added, including: • The Australian National Immunisation Program Schedule • Ovarian cancer • Dengue fever • Advanced care planning

It is practical, user friendly and succinctly covers all common problems.
